ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. The selection of candidates will be carried out for following categories as per qualitative
requirement:-
1. Post Name : Agniveer
(General
Duty)
(All Arms)
Education :
Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and
33% in each subject. For boards following grading system,
min of ‘D’ grade (33% - 40%) in individual subjects or grades
with 33% in indl subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade
or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)
Driving License will be given preference for Driver
requirements.
Age Limit : 17½- 21 Yrs
2. Post Name : Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)
Education :
10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics,
Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in
aggregate and 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2 /Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics,
Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn
Bd or Central Edn Bd to incl NIOS and ITI course of min one
yr in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.
OR
10th/Matric pass with 50% in aggregate and min 40% in
English, Maths and Science with 02 yrs of Tech Training
from ITI or two/three yrs Diploma in following streams only :-
(ii) Mechanic Diesel
(iii) Electronic Mech
(iv) Technician Power Electronic Systems
(v) Electrician
(vi) Fitter
(vii) Instrument Mechanic
(viii) Draughtsman (All types)
(ix) Surveyor
(x) Geo Informatics Assistant
(xi) Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance
(xii) Information Technology
(xiii) Mechanic Cum Operator Electric Communication System
(xiv) Vessel Navigator
(xv) Mechanical Engineering
(xvi) Electrical Engineering
(xvii) Electronics Engineering
(xviii) Auto Mobile Engineering

3. Post Name : Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) (All Arms)
Education :
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts,
Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and
minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English
and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Cl XII is mandatory
Age Limit : 17½- 21 Yrs
4. Post Name : Agniveer Tradesmen 10th pass (All Arms)
Education :
(a) Class 10th simple pass
(b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have
scored 33% in each subject.
Age Limit : 17 ½ - 21 Yrs

Education :
(a) Class 8th simple pass
(b) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have
scored 33% in each subject.

Note: Candidates who have appeared in class 10th and class 12th Board Exam and are
awaiting declaration of results are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other QR.
Such candidates, however, shall only be selected when they produce the original
marksheet during the Phase II of recruitment process(Internet copy of marksheet not
acceptable) as also such candidates should secure the minimum laid down marks in
aggregate as well as in individual subjects for respective category for being eligible to
participate in Phase II – Recruitment rally.
2. Date of Birth: Candidate born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive) are
eligible to apply.
Note :-
(i) The above marks are fixed depending upon the eligibility of a candidate and has no
relation to his performance in Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
(ii) Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 25 Marks even if a candidate qualifies
for more than one type of bonus marks except Agniveer (Technical).
(iii) Maximum bonus marks that can be given to Agniveer (Technical) is 50 Mks if he is
qualified in ITI/Diploma {Serial 6 (h) refers}.
(iv) Only one ward (daughter/son) of Service/Ex-Servicemen/War Widow/ Widow of Exservicemen can avail bonus marks in written examination.
(v) Original Certificates to be carried by all above categories at rally site.
(vi) Sports Certificate are valid for two years from the issue date as on first day of the
recruitment rally for which the candidate is being screened.
(vii) In case a candidate is found to have made fake claims at any stage or furnished
fake certificate to unfairly secure Bonus Marks, his candidature is liable to be cancelled at
any stage of recruitment.
